Kyle McEneaney

Program Director, Climate Tech

Kyle McEneaney is Program Director for Climate Tech at The Schmidt Family Foundation, a program that seeks to accelerate deployments of energy transition technologies. Previously he created and led the Connectivity program at Schmidt Futures, which invested in fixed and mobile network infrastructure deployments and innovation in spectrum management.

Before working in emerging technology philanthropy, Kyle focused on emerging markets in various investing, operating, and consulting roles. Prior to founding his own advisory firm, he led corporate strategy and new ventures, with a particular focus on energy and energy services, for a diversified family conglomerate based in the UAE. He led public and private markets investment programs as a founding Vice President with Northern Gulf Partners, the first Iraq-focused investment firm. Previously, he led Middle East work for Ergo, a global intelligence and advisory firm. Kyle has also advised the World Bank on climate-smart and agricultural investment strategies.

Kyle was a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations, and holds a BA from Yale University and an MA from Harvard University.
