
Michael Martinez
Program Manager, Food & Agriculture
Michael Martinez is a Program Manager with 11th Hour’s Food and Agriculture Program. He previously served as the Executive Director for LA Compost, building out a decentralized network of community compost systems across Los Angeles County. He co-founded the California Alliance for Community Composting, sits on the Board of Directors for the U.S Composting Council, and was appointed by the Mayor of Los Angeles as a Commissioner for the City of LA’s Climate Emergency Mobilization Office.
Michael holds an MAT from the USC Rossier School of Education and a B.A in Youth Ministry from Azusa Pacific University.
