Samuel Oslund
Program Director, AgTech
Samuel Oslund is the AgTech program director at The 11th Hour Project, where his role focuses on supporting the development of technologies that advance agroecology and food sovereignty movements. Prior to joining the 11th Hour Project, Samuel was leading a Farm Hack initiative to strengthen international collaboration between researchers, technologists, and farmer-led organizations working on open-source agricultural technology. His background in participatory tool development is grounded in 13 years of organic farming and grassroots organizing in Montreal.
Samuel received his master’s degree in environmental design from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Concordia University.
